Rådhuskonditoriet was founded as a family-run patisserie by master confectioner Folke Karlsson and his wife Anna in 1957. The patisserie is still located in Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie's hunting castle from the 17th century, in the centre of Lidköping.
Since 1984 the company is run by Folke´s son, Kjell Karlsson, who over the years has developed the company into a bakery with 45 employees. Today we bake thin soft bread with heritage from the north, in various types, using various grains - hence the name (Fjällbröd) Mountain Bread.
